E-commerce retailer Newegg, which is based in the City of Industry, is expanding in Canada, the firm announced Wednesday afternoon, with new offices and a warehouse. Newegg said it has opened up its first office and warehouse in Mississauga, Ontario, with 55,000 square feet of mostly warehouse operations. The firm said the move comes at its one-year anniversary of entering the country. Los Angeles-based Total Beauty, the women's fashion and beauty site headed by Emrah Kovacoglu, reports today that the firm has hit the number 4 position in comScore's ranking of beauty/fashion sites. Total Beauty also said it is number one in terms of time spent per visit. Total Beauty operates an online site focused on fashion and beauty, including user-generated reviews and daily editorial information. Newport Beach-based InteliCloud, a manufacturer of blade server equipment, announced Wednesday that it has added Gil Amelio, the former CEO of Apple and National Semiconductor, to its board of advisors. Amelio was CEO of Apple between 1994 and 1997, CEO of National Semiconductor between 1991 and 1996, and is now a Senior Partner at Sienna Ventures.
